The Cape Breton Chordsmen are champions again. Finishing ahead of six other choruses at a recent Barbershop Harmony Society competition in Sackville, N.B., the Chordsmen took home the Roger Cooper trophy as the top barbershop chorus in Atlantic Canada. Co-directed by Hal Higgins and Brandon Mollon, the Chordsmen have finished first three times in the past six years. Two quartets from Cape Breton also scored well in the contest. Quattro had a second place finish while Class Act came fourth out of the ten quartets competing.
