We regret the loss of our dear friend, Frederick “Fred” Miles on August 23, 2020.

Fred was born on June 12, 1937, and lived in Sydney his entire life. He graduated from Acadia University in 1958 with a Bachelor of Arts (Economics). Fred was a well-known business man, entrepreneur, and community leader. Among his many passions was a love of singing, and he graced several choirs as well as the Cape Breton Chordsmen. Fred was also a founding member of the Sydney Barbershop Quartet “Quarterdeck”.

Fred will be dearly missed by his fellow Chordsmen.
